Intro

These Terms of Trade outline how Two Four Electrical Limited operates, including pricing, payment terms, and responsibilities.
By engaging us to supply goods or services, you agree to these terms.

Application

These terms apply to all goods and services supplied by Two Four Electrical Limited to the Customer.
These terms override any prior agreements unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Definitions

Company means Two Four Electrical Limited.
Customer means the person or entity engaging the Company.
Goods means all materials and equipment supplied.
Services means all electrical work carried out.

Payment

Payment is due as follows:

No set-off or deduction is permitted.
The Company may suspend work where payment is overdue

Overdue accounts:

All debt recovery costs are payable by the Customer.

Pricing

All pricing is in accordance with the Company’s pricing schedule available at
www.twofour.co.nz 

or as quoted.

Deposits and Progress Payments

The Company may require deposits or progress payments at its discretion.
Failure to pay may result in suspension or cancellation of work.

Supply and Installation

Goods are deemed delivered when they arrive at site or are collected.
Risk passes to the Customer upon delivery.

 

Services are deemed complete when work is carried out at site.
The Customer is responsible for materials delivered to site.

Ownership of Goods

All goods remain the property of the Company until paid in full.
The Company may register a security interest in those goods if required.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the value of the goods or services supplied.
The Company is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss.

Consumer Guarantees Act

Where services are supplied to a residential customer, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 applies.
Nothing in these terms limits the Customer’s rights under that Act.

 

 

Where the Customer acquires goods or services for business purposes, the Customer agrees that the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Default

If the Customer defaults:

Privacy

The Customer authorises the Company to obtain credit information and share data with credit agencies if required.

General

These terms are governed by New Zealand law.
If any clause is invalid, the remaining clauses remain in effect.
